Client Services Director


The Client Services Director plays a critical role in Finn, as a senior leader responsible for driving growth, retaining clients as well as managing and guiding team members by setting an example of Finn’s values. In this role as an integrated client service leader, you will possess a deep understanding of integrated brand communications, spanning from brand strategy and audience segmentation to creative campaigns, channel planning, and activation.

You will be responsible for developing client strategies and overseeing the quality execution of campaigns as well as leading, retaining and growing senior client relationships. You will be tasked with driving business growth within existing clients and pitching new business to achieve agency targets.

The Client Services Director, is responsible for the effective and profitable running of the agency’s accounts and owns the client commercials.

Lead & Manage

  • Responsible for high quality and excellent delivery of accounts, by creating and leading account teams
  • Responsible for developing best practice activity, embody and inspire the team to demonstrate the agency’s values and collaborating with Finn specialisms to deliver campaigns
  • Coach and line manage team members within your group - Leading, inspiring and motivating a team to deliver outstanding work
  • Deliver training and mentoring to wider team members to enhance individual skills and ensure the agency has the skills and capabilities to deliver consumer activity
  • Lead by example to live the Finn beliefs and inspire and motivate the team


Agency Gross Profit, Utilisation & Invoicing

  • Responsible for full financial control of all client accounts, deliver efficient and profitable group of accounts to meet agreed targets. To include working with the team to; negotiate with clients, compile sound budgets, accurate forecasting and pricing and scoping of client activities, working closely with the FD to track project profitability and ensure delivery within budget with minimal over-service
  • Responsible for ensuring client invoicing is accurate, timely and paid within terms
  • Working with the FD to resource teams efficiently, to ensure smooth, profitable delivery of clients and making best use of expertise throughout the agency


Agency Client Retention and Growth

  • Exceptional client management, be the lead senior client liaison to provide strategic counsel, retain strong client relationships, add value and build C-Suite relationships
  • Identifying and securing business development opportunities to add value to clients and grow accounts to achieve agency fee targets
  • Lead new business pitches. Originate leads via networking and contribute to agency marketing Capture in-bound leads and convert them.


Client-Agency Experience & Delivering the Proposition

  • Developing and executing effective processes that guarantee outstanding client experiences while maintaining service levels
  • Work with the Creative Director to develop the agency proposition
  • Working collaboratively, develop the agency go to market strategy.
  • Be an ambassador for the proposition
